Project 1: Incubator retail

My client is Skin and Grain. They are a company based out of Singapore. They opened for business November of 2015 right in time for Christmas shopping. I have included in the top left corner a picture of the logo. It is minimalist and sleek which represents the brand perfectly. The company creates customizable engraved wood and leather watches. Skin and Grain’s materials are environmentally friendly. The watches are made with 100% biodegradable wood and 100% genuine leather. There are a variety of grains to choose from: oak noir, oak, ivory, ebony, carmine, and blackwood. The vinyl watches are for women and the classica leather is for men. For the products, I have pictured here on the board, there is an example of every wood as well as a mix of the men and women’s styles. Two of the images also show you the engraved wood box that the watch comes in upon delivery. The company has a profile on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, and Instagram. Their Etsy shop has over two thousand sales and over a thousand admirers.

Project 2: Lifestyle retail - Group project 

Our mission at theVillage is to provide all-natural reusable products with the health of the Earth and our bodies in mind. TheVillage is a new retail location that is looking to merge ideas from different companies to make a one-stop-shop for products that are sustainable. The retail space will sell refillable containers, holistic home remedies, kitchen supplies, laundry products, beauty toiletries, and tote bags. The community space will be created where customers can create their own custom products, learn new skills, and communicate with other customers.
